Abhishek Bachchan Finally Tests Negative For Coronavirus; Gets Discharged From Nanavati Hospital After 29 Days
The Bachchan family can finally heave a sigh of relief as junior Bachchan has recovered from Coronavirus and will be back home today. Abhishek Bachchan tested positive for Coronavirus on July 11 along with father Amitabh Bachchan and was admitted to Nanavati Hospital the same night. Later his wife Aishwarya Rai Bachchan and daughter Aardhya Bachchan's test results also showed them COVID-19 positive. Though they isolated at home for a few days, a week later, the mother-daughter duo too was shifted to the hospital for the treatment. They received discharge on July 27 whereas the megastar was released from the hospital on August 2. Now good news is that Abhishek Bachchan too has tested negative for COVID-19 and will be back home after fighting novel disease for 29 days.

Taking to his Instagram Abhishek Bachchan wrote, "I TOLD YOU!!! Discharge plan: YES!! This afternoon I tested Covid-19 NEGATIVE. Thank you all for your prayers and wishes. I’m so happy to be able to go home. #believe My eternal gratitude to the doctors and nursing staff at Nanavati Hospital for taking such good care of me and my family and helping us beat Covid-19. We couldn’t have done it without them".


It was Abhishek who had informed about wife Aishwarya and daughter testing negative for Coronavirus by tweeting, "Thank you all for your continued prayers and good wishes. Indebted forever. Aishwarya and Aaradhya have thankfully tested negative and have been discharged from the hospital. They will now be at home. My father and I remain in hospital under the care of the medical staff.”
